Mark L. Yoseloff, Ph.D. - Chairman of
the Board and Chief Executive Officer
Mark L. Yoseloff joined Shuffle Master in June 1997
as Executive Vice President and was promoted to
Chief Executive Officer in June 2001. A former senior
executive for Coleco Industries, Yoseloff joined
Shuffle Master with over 20 years experience in
the design, development and manufacturing of electronic
games. His work has resulted in the creation of
more than 150 electronic game products and video
products for leading gaming companies. The co-author
of a college text on discrete mathematics and probability
theory, Dr. Yoseloff received a doctorate in finite
mathematics from Princeton University and taught
mathematics and computer science at Princeton University
and Arizona State University.
Paul C. Meyer - President and Chief Operating
Officer
Paul C. Meyer joined Shuffle Master as President
in October 2003 and was promoted to Chief Operating
Officer in February 2004. His extensive experience
includes serving as President for the Integrated
Solutions Division of Concurrent Computer Corporation
(2000-2003) and ASM Associates (1998-2000). Meyer’s
experience also includes numerous other executive
positions including Executive Vice President of
Virgin Interactive Entertainment, Inc., an entertainment
software developer and publisher, Executive Vice
President and Chief Operating Officer of PlayNet
Technologies, in New York, New York, a developer
and manufacturer of coin-operated equipment, and
Executive Vice President and General Manager of
Viacom New Media in New York, New York.
Jerome R. Smith - Senior Vice President
and General Counsel
Jerome R. Smith joined Shuffle Master as General
Counsel in 2001 and was promoted to Senior Vice
President in March 2004. Prior to joining the Company,
Smith served as corporate counsel for several other
companies including World Communications, Inc. and
Hang Ten International and represented both public
and private companies through his private law practice.
His expertise includes extensive experience with
mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property,
corporate governance and general corporate and business
transactional legal matters. Smith graduated from
Duke University and received his law degree from
Emory University School of Law.
R. Brooke Dunn - Senior Vice President
R. Brooke Dunn joined Shuffle Master in 1996 as
Director of Marketing, bringing extensive marketing
and gaming experience to the Company. Due to his
substantial contributions, he was promoted to Vice
President of Marketing in July 1997 and Senior Vice
President in July 2001. Prior to joining Shuffle
Master, Dunn was Vice President of Gaming Operations
Marketing for the Hilton Gaming Corporation, as
well as Vice President of Marketing for numerous
companies including the Reno Hilton, Harveys in
Lake Tahoe and the Flamingo Hilton Laughlin. Dunn
graduated from San Diego State University with a
B.S. in Marketing.
Coreen Sawdon, CPA - Senior Vice President,
Chief Accounting Officer and Acting Chief Financial
Officer
Coreen Sawdon, CPA joined Shuffle Master in
June 2005 as Vice President of Accounting and was
promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting
Officer in August 2007. Effective March 1, 2008,
Coreen was named the Acting Chief Financial Officer
while concurrently serving as Chief Accounting Officer.
A former Operations Controller and then Vice President
of Finance for GES Exposition Services in Las Vegas, NV,
Sawdon joined Shuffle Master with over 10 years of public
accounting and auditing experience with progressively
increasing responsibilities at Ernst & Young, Coopers &
Lybrand and Arthur Andersen. Sawdon has extensive experience
in gaming and is a member of the Nevada and American Institutes
of Certified Public Accountants.
David Lopez - President, Shuffle Master Americas
David Lopez joined Shuffle Master in February
1998 as a marketing analyst and was promoted to
product manager of shufflers in 1999. He headed
the successful launch and rollout of the ACE®
and King®product lines and oversaw
the development of the Company's newest shuffler,
the Deck Mate™. Based on his ongoing
contributions to the Company, Lopez was promoted
to Vice President of Product Management in 2002.
Lopez graduated from the University of Nevada, Las
Vegas with a B.S. in Business Administration.
Piers Morgan - President, Stargames Limited
Piers Morgan joined Stargames in June 2007,
was appointed as Chief Operating Officer in September
and has been serving as Acting President since November
2007. A former entrepreneur who most recently operated
his own business distributing digital voice recording
products in the Asia Pacific region, Morgan’s experience
includes a wide range of executive roles for Jupiter’s
Limited in Australia including General Manager of
Business Development, General Manager of Centrebet and
Group General Manager for Jupiter’s On Line. Morgan holds
a bachelors degree in economics and an MBA from Macquarie
University in Sydney and is also a Chartered Accountant.
Ernst Blaha - Managing Director, CARD,
A Shuffle Master International Company
Ernst Blaha joined Shuffle Master in May
2004 through the acquisition of CARD from Casinos
Austria AG, where he served as Managing Director.
Previously an employee of Casinos Austria AG since
1974, Blaha was appointed to Managing Director in
1992 and played an instrumental role in the creation
of all CARD-developed products. A graduate of the
HTL Steyr Technical School for Machine Engineering,
Blaha is the inventor of CARD’s first-generation
shuffler, the Shuffle Star™, and co-inventor of
the one2six™ and The Easy Chipper®.
